Vehicle-client pairing

What do you want to find out?

Vehicle-client pairing

Category:

The Vehicle-client pairing feature allows you to categorize your clients by vehicles.

If you have just one vehicle in the program, you may still want to set this up. If you have multiple vehicles in the system, this is the feature you can use to organize the headquarters and branches you already recorded. You can assign which vehicle visits or can visit which Headquarters, Branch, Client, or Filling station (of course, multiple of the points mentioned above can be assigned to the same vehicle).

First, select the vehicle you want to work with by clicking on the box at the top right.
Tip: You can start typing the license plate by clicking on the search box, or you can narrow your search by searching for the type of car or the driver’s name. Click X to clear the field and start a new search.
Once you have selected the appropriate vehicle, you will see a list that can be sorted by Name, Category, Zip Code, Address, Country, or Creation Date, or you can search for a specific point by clicking the Filter box.

Active group:

This includes the Headquarters / Branches or Clients within the USA. By default, any newly recorded points will appear as Active. These may even automatically appear in the mileage log due to the operation of the AI Wizard technology. Foreign points and Filling stations are therefore obviously not in the Active group. AI Wizard function uses these active points when making recommendations to your mileage log.

Passive Group:

By default, this will include foreign clients and Filling stations. Points should be marked as Passive if you do not want the AI Wizard technology to insert them when creating your mileage log draft. Typically you would put any point into the passive category, that you do not want to appear in your mileage log drafts, such as service garages, car washes, and any point you would like to exclude when using the AI Wizard function. You can record these points manually at the Fixed trips / Mobile app and Trips menu. This will allow you to schedule visits to these points at any given time.

Inactive group:

By default, no points would be automatically added to the Inactive group.  This feature is useful for users with multiple vehicles. Set a point inactive for a vehicle, if the selected vehicle will never visit that point. If you put a point in the Inactive group, it will not be selectable for that vehicle In fixed trips or the Trips menu. If you mark a Filling station as inactive, when you’re near that area, you will not be able to record any refueling / charging data.
For example, an inactive point could be a private point, such as a vacation house, that one of the vehicle’s drivers visited.

To change the category of a point, simply click on the circle in the appropriate column in that row. If you don’t want to make any other changes, click the Save pairing button at the top right and you’re done!

You can continue making changes in different points without saving, but when you are done with all of your changes, don’t forget to save! Next to the Filter field, you can see how many items you’ve modified so far.

Click the Modified button to display a list of vehicles modified so far. You can undo the changes by clicking the Restore “XY”s statuskukaicon. When you are done, click Save pairing in the top right!

You can set all the Clients at once by clicking the checkbox above the groups:

Tip: If you want to copy the pairings for a particular vehicle to another vehicle, click the menu at the top right, and select Copy pairing.
Select the vehicle to which you want to copy the pairing and click the Save button.
